Dickon Tully ruled on Lonely Light. The Iron Throne was embroiled in civil war and the Iron Islands will take no part in the conflict. The Riverlands, the Reach and the Vale had declared for the newest Blackfyre pretender, The North, West and Dorne had chosen to be neutral along with us. Aerys Targaryen appears to be doomed.

Seeking alliances, Aerys agreed when Lord Dickon asked for Sheira Seastar's hand in marriage, and she gave him a son to help continue the line, the third of Dickon's children. Then war came to the Iron Islands. Lord Paramount Loren Greyjoy sided with the beleaguered Aerys, and with the war looking set to see a Targaryen defeat, Dickon roused his forces and sailed for North Cracklaw Point, the seat of the Blackfyre pretender.

Dickon Tully led his forces ashore to find a barely defended castle, a short battle was decisive and the besieging of North Cracklaw Point began. After a few months, it was over. The Blackfyre surrendered, the Lords bent the knee and Aerys was saved.

The last Tully was kept imprisoned, and Dickon decided to push for his death, plotting to take the Riverlands in one fell swoop. The Faceless Men rejected the contract, but Dickon kept plotting for it.

Before Dickon could take the Riverlands, his justicar brought him good news. They had a claim on Pyke, and hopefully could use this to springboard to take the Iron Islands themselves! Declaring war, he quickly captured Pyke and sailed back to Lonely Light, to defeat the besieging Iron Islander army. With a close but decisive victory here, Lord Paramount Loren surrendered Pyke to Dickon Tully, before dying of a chill a week later.

Now Dickon rules Pyke and Lonely Light, has a Targaryen wife and son, and is in line to take the Riverlands. Will life get better or will it go downhill? We shall see.
