Some information on a sword requested.
Post Body

We do medieval reenactment so naturally everyone who runs across a sword gives it to us. Today we got what looks like a hand forged sword from what looks like 1862. I have a shell turned into a shot glass that I believe is called Trench Art aldo. So here's my question, sorry for my ignorance, it's this a cool piece to just hang on my wall or is it a piece for insurance? I highly doubt it's museum quality, but I casually drank tea from a rare lithphane tea cup for longer than I'd like to admit. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
