Advice/is this CHS?
Post Body

I have been smoking for like 2 years not much compared to some of you other guys. For the first year, I smoked I was only smoking flower on weekends. After that year of using every weekend, I eventually bought a cart and this pushed my use to multiple times a day due to the convenience.

About two months ago I realized I was feeling off, especially in the mornings, but I ignored it. Skip to about 3 weeks ago when I had woken up with what felt like a nasty case of food poisoning (Constant diarrhea, stomach pain, and vomiting). This lasted about like two days before I was able to keep food down again. I have a sensitive stomach and a history of issues with anxiety that often amplify negative feelings so I had just assumed this is what this was. I had also gone to a doctor and he told me that it sounded like I just had a case of food poisoning possibly salmonella

After this happened for the last 3 weeks I wake up almost every morning extremely nauseous and almost immediately would run to the bathroom to vomit up mucus and spit that I had swallowed through the night followed by dry heaving. This only lasts about 10 minutes and after I usually get cold chills for about 30min - to 1 hour and then I'm usually relatively good again for the rest of the day.

On Thursday I woke up was extreme pain in my stomach and nausea but no dry heaving. Unlike past days the stomach pain and nausea persisted past the morning. I was able to schedule a doctor's appointment where they checked for a stomach ulcer and found that I didn't have one. I was completely honest with the nurse and the doctor about the frequency of my use and they both didn't mention anything on how it may be connected.

As I mentioned before I have a history of anxiety and a PTSD diagnosis and my doctor believed that this could be tied to my mental health because when I have panic attacks or triggers I exhibit some similar symptoms. However, the panic attacks I've had in the past have always felt different than this and they've never lingered in a pattern like this, but A lot of the posts and articles on this sub and online have conflicting reports of how CHS affects people, and Im unsure if this is CHS or maybe just some combo of a stomach problem with my mental health problems.

Throughout this whole debacle, I have been hitting my cart usually a couple of times a day but some days only once at night. I still get high and while I'm high I feel great it is just that I'm not sure if weed is what's causing me to feel like this. (I will be stopping for a month regardless just for peace of mind and will probably just quit if my symptoms subside).

So pretty much I'm just asking for some insight from some of you guys does this sound like CHS to you or are my symptoms inconsistent with someone who has CHS?

thanks again
