Since the news hit that Nagy and Pace are keeping their positions with the Bears, a bunch of us have been talking about crowdfunding a billboard near Halas Hall, Soldier Field, or both. The user who originally brought up the idea was u/rudeboybill in this comment. In my last post regarding the subject, we discussed potential slogans to put on the billboard. The most popular slogan was "Be Somebody Else" dubbed by u/top_man.

As of tonight, I have been in contact with many interested redditors including a couple volunteer graphic designers, along with an irl friend of mine who specializes in intellectual property law. We might have some hurdles to jump over, but if we pull this off correctly we could do even better than the bulls sub did last year. u/vinceole and I have drafted a decently well-written message to add to the crowdfunding page. All that's left is for this sub to agree on exactly what goes on the billboard.

PS: It should be noted that the billboard could get taken down if we break any copyright laws or use the Bears' likeness, so we'll have to be clever with our design. My personal choice would be something like this (credit: u/whoopsjustreposted) or this except instead of using copyrighted images of each FO member, stenciling minimalist silhouettes resembling them just enough you can tell who it's supposed to be about (shouldn't be hard if there's a bald guy with a visor in it).

We should hopefully have the official gofundme page up and running by tomorrow, just tell us what you think!
