"I was just trying to make a play. It wasn't intentional. I was just trying to hustle to the ball and do my job. Unfortunately, he ended up hurt. I'm sorry about that. I'm going to reach out to him and try to send him a message, because we play a physical game, but you don't want to see that on nobody."

"When you saw the replay, do you regret how it went down?"

"I regret the level that I hit him at. I could have been better, but you have to understand my momentum, I was just trying to make a play. Nothing intentional. It happens in this game. Hopefully they see that. I was just trying to make a play."

"Do you brace for suspension?"

"We'll see. I don't think there needs to be a suspension, but I don't know. My main concern is that he's okay."

"What were your emotions seeing him on the ground like that for as long as it was?"

"It was bad. I never wish that on nobody. Especially after being hurt a couple of times, and especially with the head and neck. You never wish that on nobody and you never want to see that. But the game is physical, and it happens. Hopefully, he gets my half of it."

"Have you hit someone like that before?"

"Yes, but he didn't end up hurt like that. I didn't get a fine or nothing, they just threw a flag. I got away. But looking for to him just being okay. We'll see what people got to say about the fine."

"How will you reach out?"

"Twitter. I talked to some people and got his number. He knows the type of player I am. I don't wish bad on nobody, but I'm going to play lights out. I'm trying to create havoc as a linebacker. But I don't wish that on nobody."

"Did you realize immediately that it was a vicious hit?"

"No I didn't. I realized after he laid there for a while. I saw his mouthpiece thrown outside, and he wasn't moving. I just immediately dropped down and started praying."

"Did you realize you hit him flush on his helmet with your helmet?"

"I don't think I hit him in the helmet, I think I hit him right [in the chin.] It wasn't intentional at all. I wasn't trying to break his neck. I was trying to make a play. He was trying to get into the endzone. My speed was picked up, and I just tried to make a tackle."

"Did you have time to slow down?"

"It was just reaction. I saw him spinning and trying to get the touchdown, and I just ran to try to make a play."

"Did you feel your head low?"

"I didn't feel anything."

"Did you have a chance to look at the replay?"

"I saw it. But I thought [I caught him while] he was moving down as he was spinning, his head turned that way. But you know, we'll look at it on the film and see. I'm looking forward to hearing what they say about that. Looking forward to showing my side of the case."

"Things got chippy and the referees had to intervene. What was it like after the hit?"

"It's a very intense game. If one of their players go down, they feel like they have to protect them. But my guys are going to protect me, too. Like I said, it was never intentional. Aaron Rodgers knew immediately that I wasn't trying to hurt his guy. Hopefully, everyone understands that. It's a little gray spot in this are in football where you're trying to protect players but you're hurting our tackling. But at the same time, we have to be better and they have to be better."

"When you talked to Aaron Rodgers after the hit, what was the conversation like?"

"It was just me and him talking. 'That happens when you're one of the hardest hitters in the NFL. Stuff happens, man.' He didn't want to see his man go down. I said the same thing. I never want to see something like that happen, especially in our profession. We're all brothers, but we're trying to win the game."

"Do you expect something from the league office?"

"We'll see. Surely they'll look at it, since it was a flag. But I'll be ready for it."

"What was your reaction when you saw the replay of the hit?"

"I initially thought it was a good hit, because I only saw him falling at the end. Then I walked over and saw it again. I didn't know he was going to be hurt like that until I saw it, from the full beginning to seeing his mouthpiece go out like that. But I was just trying to make a play. Nothing intentional. I was just trying to do my job."

"Did you think it was a dirty hit after you saw the replay?"

"I'm not a dirty player, so I don't dirty hit."
