Bears get a 2025 4th instead of a 2025 6th if Fields plays >50% of snaps.
I was here and this is massive revisionist history. This sub wanted Russ. Itās okay to be thankful it didnāt work out in hindsight, but people act like āthey always knew betterā. No, they didnāt.
This sub also liked Ryan Pace until maybe his final days (they were busy fuming over Nagy) and didnāt acknowledge till years after he was gone what an utter trainwreck he was running this team into the ground
I donāt remember how the sub reacted to that (or when we even heard that) but at the time, Russ was still viewed as a top of the league QB, and we all jizzed our pants when he leaked to the media that we were one of the teams heād accept being traded to.
Hell, even I did, and I was ahead of 90% of this sub and the fans when I called Pace, Trubisky, and fields disasters waiting to happen and everyone else told me how wrong I was everyday
I like what Ryan Poles has done, but letās see actual winning results on the field before we declare our front office competent.
This sub for years claimed Pace was competent, I was here and witnessed it firsthand and fought people everyday over it
A GMs job is to build a team and win. Simple. Not to win offseason championships
I agree, but results are what matter above all else. Results>>>āthe processā

Heās shown moments of brilliance as an athlete.
As a QB? Maybe like 1-2 games over 3 seasonsā¦
