I just wanted to let you know that I finally found a new career opportunity and I’ll be moving across the country in a few weeks. I debated a lot on if reaching out was a worthwhile endeavor- maybe you’ll never even see this after all… But ultimately I wanted you to know. I think you’d be proud of what I’ve accomplished.

You haven’t used the number I gave you, so I know that means you probably don’t want to talk. But you know I can’t ever let anything go lol. So I just wanted to extend a (knobby) olive branch in case our timing was finally right.
