Post Body

Still learning the ropes, havenโ€™t even taken my Series 65 yet. One of my clients got laid off and their company will automatically open a Traditonal IRA for them into which the 401k will be rolled.

If we then immediately open a new traditional IRA with our custodian, could we roll the employer-opened IRA into the new one without violating the Once-Per-Year Rollover Rule? Thank you!
