Hello everyone! I run an independent shop with me and one other family member as planners. Our company has grown a lot in the past few years and we are kicking around the idea of hiring another adviser. My hang up with this is that we live in a very small community and I donβt want to train a person and then they leave and open up their own place down the road. Also, how would you arrange compensation? Salary? Performance based? A hybrid between both? This would be my first hire so any ideas help. Thanks!
