I am about to be a senior at a university that doesn't have an aerospace/CFD program. I have been doing it on the side with one of the ME professors though, and I just got an internship to do CFD over the summer. I'm wondering if you all have some suggestions for how to peruse this in grad school what sort of things should I be looking at? What schools are best for this (preferably in the southeast US)? Given that my school doesn't have a strong program for it what would make me stand out from other grad school applicants? How do I find the right professors since usually a CFD professor is buried in a lot of other mechanical professors? Basically any advice for pursing a grad degree in the areas of CFD/aerospace/energy systems.
