Last night at midnight, coaches could officially begin contacting 2022 recruits. This means we can finally judge which SEC program put the most and least effort into developing their official 2022 recruiting twitter hashtag.
The Classics
These teams kept it simple. The hashtag is easily linked to the program and didn't involve a cringy '22 pun.
1A. Alabama #BamaFactor
1B. Auburn #AuburnMade
1C. Texas A&M #GigEm
A New Brand
It's new and unique. Not entirely well-linked to the school or the football program, but should give the class an identity. Not as awkward as the rest of them.
4. Miss St #SwingYourSword22
5. Ole Miss #RiseWithUs
The Puns/Rhymes
These are real bad. If there is an awkward rhyme or pun (ARtime = our time) you're gonna lose points. These are phrases that belong on the back of a 2022 high school senior class shirt.
6A. Arkansas #ARtime22
6B. Florida #ChosenFew22
6C. Kentucky #2Legit2quit (credit /u/WhoIsDN)
The Ridiculous Letter Substitutions
The number 2 is usually turned into the letter Z. But not in these cases. Now it's an S or a G. Deal with it.
9A. Georgia #BO22MOVES
9B. LSU #BayouPre22ure
9C. USCe #Busine22Decision
9D. Tennessee #PRE22URE
13. Vandy #BI22ERPICTURE
Mizzou
Mizzou is ranked last because instead of taking advantage of the one year this century where a #MI22OU would have been perfect... they made an unintelligible rhyme. Oof.
99. Mizzou #ZOU22
