• Week 1 kicks off with a big Thursday night non-conference game between UCLA UCLA and Cincinnati Cincinnati. The Bearcats beat the Bruins for the second year in a row and hopes are soaring in Cincinnati, but Ohio State looms on the horizon.

• 2019 doesn’t seem to look any better for Rutgers Rutgers as UMass UMass comes in to Piscataway and knocks them off!

College GameDay: In an unsurprising move, College GameDay goes to Dallas for a matchup between Oregon and Auburn. Lee Corso, continues his love affair with the Oregon Duck as he picks Oregon to get the win. It’s only fitting for a game that’s played in Cowboys Stadium, Lil Nas X arrives on a horse to join the set as guest picker.

Notable Results

Georgia Georgia comes out sluggish, but pulls away after halftime to handle SEC foe Vanderbilt Vanderbilt by 16 points.

• In the Game of the Week between Oregon Oregon and Auburn Auburn, it’s a back and forth affair for the entire game as each team matches the other punch for punch. With 1:16 left in the 4th quarter and the game tied 37-37. Justin Herbert finds an open receiver who is able to get into Auburn territory, after a few runs to get into better Field Goal position, the Ducks are able to run the clock down as Auburn is out of timeouts. With 0:04 seconds left Oregon trots out their FG team to attempt a 32 yard game winner. The kick is good! Oregon wins!

• The Missouri Missouri Tigers make a trip out to Laramie to face Wyoming Wyoming. The Cowboys hang around virtually the entire game, but Missouri pulls away late due to a couple Wyoming turnovers.
