I know it's not exactly related to this game, but it is related to the coverage.
I'm so fucking tired of every halftime show being about the playoff. ESPN owns the tv rights to every bowl game. If I'm watching the Alamo Bowl, or Birmingham bowl, I'll be watching the god damn playoff. You don't need to constantly force it down my throat.
The freaking Orange Bowl is tomorrow and I haven't heard a single analyst talking about it. I know people say that the playoff doesn't diminish other bowl games because there was already a championship game, but it definitely seems to dramatically hurt the coverage other how games receive. No mention of the Sun Bowl or Music City bowl all day either.
