The life of a G5 in the era of NIL..
This has turned into an impossible job for college coaching staffs.
Thousands of hours and hundreds of thousands of dollars spent recruiting players from highschool and then constantly having to coddle them and match other offers as people poach them.
If you are getting paid there has to be some kind of commitment on the players side concerning a contract.
I think NIL or the open transfer portal was doable but both together is a perfect storm that is going to take down CFB to a level that is not much fun for anyone.

I did not say it was a job they would not do..it just makes it impossible to build any kind of consistent program.
