Are there more cross-conference P5 games this season than usual?
Post Body
Just today, we have (not exclusively):
- Texas (Big 12) vs Alabama (SEC)
- Auburn (SEC) vs Cal (Pac-12)
- Colorado (Pac-12) vs Nebraska (Big 10)
- Miss St (SEC) vs Arizona (Pac-12)
- Oregon (Pac-12) vs Texas Tech (Big 12)
- Wisconsin (Big 10) vs Washington State (Pac-12)
- Utah (Pac-12) vs Baylor (Big 10)
Plus last week:
- Florida (SEC) vs Utah (Pac-12)
- Florida State (ACC) vs LSU (SEC)
- Colorado (Pac-12) vs TCU (Big 12)
- North Carolina (ACC) vs South Carolina (SEC)
Just feels like, for as many P5 vs FCS season-starter games, we've had also a number of notable cross-conference P5 games. Am I just forgetting about this, or is that an unusually high number?
