Based on where you team is at, how you did last year, and expectations.
For me, I'd consider a successful season for Miami as *competing in the ACCCG, finishing ranked, and winning a bowl game. I think this is doable if TVD stays healthy and plays at the levels he has flashed before. A 10 win season would ease fears about Cristobal, help upright the program and give us a solid chance with recruiting.
edit: i had to make a correction, forgot the ACC doesnt have divisions anymore. so i replaced "winning the division" with "playing the ACC title game."
