Why take early mock exams ?

Hello fellow twinks, In every single facebook thread I see people insisting to have mocks and do them as early as possible (1 month prior to the exam) and it’s stressing me out. I don’t agree, why take a mock when you are not 100% ready, revised every topic twice ann are ready to sit for the real thing ? What do you guys think.
