CDT Completion Act passes out of committee - prioritizing completion of the CDT by the trail's 50th anniversary in 2028!

Today, we are one step closer to completing the CDT! The Continental Divide Trail Completion Act received a mark-up before the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, and received a supportive vote, passing out of the committee and will now be heard in front of the full Senate!
The legislation will help support agencies, partners, and local communities to coordinate the stewardship of lands where gaps still exist along the trail and to prioritize gap sections by 2028, the 50th anniversary of the CDT’s designation!
