So I'm trying to decide between a double stack or single stack. I only intend to carry outside of work (work at a law firm and would rather not get into issues with that).

Basically I really hate shooting subcompact single stacks compared to double stacks but the double stacks seem so huge to conceal and I'm trying to avoid having to spend a grand on a new wardrobe that's a size up.

Ideally I'd like to get both. One for target and one for a carry. Any thoughts on what a new shooter should go with first?

I am trying to decide between the glock 19 and the s&m mp 2.0 compact but am open minded still.
