Walther P99 full size carry

I am buying a Walther P99 as my first handgun(pretty much dead set on this.) No other gun comes close to how much I like it, and it will be a combination range/defense gun and I accept the limitations.
Does anyone else carry one, and if so, can they recommend any holster/methods of carry? I was looking into possibly a shoulder holster, but I hear they are less than ideal.
