Isomerization and water curing

I cant be the only one that's thought of this....let's discuss.

Water curing is the process of removing chlorophyll from biomass by multiple water washes.

For those more familiar with this process...

Could you not just add the respective amount of citric to your wash water for the first few washes? Then do a bicarb and water wash, followed by a few pure water washes and end up with activated, CBD/D9/D8 water cured biomass from standard hemp flower?
