I quit smoking over 3 months ago. I smoked mainly to cope with anxiety, depression, overactive ADHD brain, and boredom. Well anyways I picked up a Colorado Cures banana kush CBD CBG vape. It assures no THC on the back of the package. This was my first experience with CBD. Well to my surprise I hit it and begin to feel high??? I thought cbd just mellowed you out, I didn’t think I would get a legit high from it. I don’t want a legit high from it either, that’s why I quit smoking weed in the first place. Obviously the high is not exactly equivalent to real bud, but it’s pretty damn close to the high I got from delta (both hemp so that makes sense). It’s not as intense and isn’t too noticeable sometimes, but other times it’s definitely there. I know that CBD is not very regulated and that there’s always a risk of the product containing trace amounts of THC. Is that it then, or does CBD just feel like this? I was hoping for something that might calm me down, but this cart makes me almost as anxious as ever. Any recommendations for a reputable brand that won’t make me feel this way, or advice on what’s going on.
I use full spectrum CBD sometimes. No THC but I'll get something of a buzz from it. I think it's some of the other cannabinoids in it, but I'm not positive.
