Current Law Enforcement and appreciate the benefits of CBD but scared it would pop on random drug tests for THC. Anyone able to guide me in the right direction?

Looking more for topical solutions for pain relief. I have a semi-significant shoulder I just that comes and goes, but has gotten worse over the last few days. I used some CBD FROM CVS pharmacy and it just seems to be like a low strength Icyhot.
Biggest concern is as the title says, I can’t have it contain any trace amounts of anything that will pop on a drug test at work.
