Brand new Anderson AR, possible bent hand guard?

Post Body

I picked up my first AR on Friday from turners, it is just a budget friendly Anderson am15. Yes I know you get what you pay for but I wanted something I could slowly upgrade over the next couple of months. When I was trying to laser bore sight my mbus sights, I noticed it was way off. I adjusted the front sight as far down as it would go and it still wasn't close. After looking closer it appears the hand guard may have a very slight bend upwards causing this issue. Does anyone have any experience or solutions for this? Can I loosen the two screws on the bottom of the hand guard and straighten it?
