Can’t keep rust off my barrel.
Post Body

Recently picked up my first shotgun. Had for bout 3 months now. Took it shooting twice cleaned it very well after. Pulled it out last week noticed minor rust on the side. Cleaned it up left very minor pitting. Almost unnoticeable, but I pulled it out again today more was on there. I’ve looked it up on YouTube. An I cleaned it right. My room isn’t super humid or hot. I do have it a soft case wrapped in a blanket cause I thought it would help. But no luck. My pistol is in the same area no issues. I pulled it out today to make sure an nothing. Should I just grab a mossberg 500 barrel on sale an be done with it? Any experience with this issue lmk. Just recently got into this so knowledge is basically limited to what I can look up lol
