Hopefully I don't hurt too many feelings here 🙄 but I don't like living in California. My main reason is the cost of living, it is nearly double of places outside California.

That alone makes me have a strong desire to move out.

Reason 2, yes I want more gun rights. I want a suppressor to protect my hearing. I want to be able to take my rifle out without being imprisoned. I want to conceal carry without all the BS fee's and gun free zones Gavin throws left and right.

Reason 3, I haven't been alone in my entire life. I want my own place and also, I want to experience a new place. I feel like I will die and have to say I spent my entire life in Cali 🤦🏼. I FEEL that sense of adventure that calls me to move far away.

But I read a message about me ( My father just leaves his computer on FB 24/7) saying

My wife " blah blah 5 paragraphs of he wants to move to another state." Father who literally wants all guns banned ( literally just says) " Guns guns guns guns guns " Wife " I know, he makes me feel ANTI-gun even tho I'm very much pro gun because he makes his entire identity about guns".

THIS PISSES ME OFF 😤 because it isn't true. I go shooting once a year 🤷‍♂️. I buy ammo once a year because I prioritize other things in life.

Half of my comments on this sub is making fun of you guys for posting your guns because I think talking about guns and showing off guns is lame lol Guns are just a tool to me for protection and hunting. I'm not much of a range guy unless it's strictly for practice aiming. I don't like demolition ranch stuff.

I rarely talk about guns now too. A few years ago when I got into guns, I did talk about it constantly because EVERY time Gavin or Biden would want to do something anti gun, I would tell my wife about it. I also talked about every court case challenging Gavin.

But nearly a year ago, I got exhausted and realized nothing seems to change. I also realized I was driving my wife crazy, so I stopped. I also just got bored and hopeless.

But they STILL insist the ONLY reason I want to move out is because of guns. Anything I say is ignored unless it's about guns. I never mentioned guns when I listed my reasons for moving out, but they keep saying " WHY? WHY are you obsessed with moving out of Cali?"

I always say because it's too expensive. Isn't that a fair and strong point? But they keep making fun of me for being obsessed with guns. UGGGH.
