Should I buy a bigger litter box?
Post Body

Hello, meet Elli Grey (picture on second slide)! She’s an adorable 2 year old with FIC. Everything has been managed with prescription food and no accidents have happened in our care yet. However, I’ve noticed something peculiar. She’ll try to cover her poop but just give up on it halfway through. She also wipes off her paws a lot on the towel we put under the litter box while she’s attempting to cover up the poop. (Side note: she loves to lay on this towel, too.) We use clumping litter because that’s what was stated that she prefers in her paperwork and an open litter box because that’s what she’s used to. I clean the litter box a LOT. Twice a day or more. But should I get a bigger one for her? Would that help with the covering of poop issue? She’s a normal sized cat, around 7lbs.
