What on earth is going on with my cat's nose?
Post Body

Tagged with NSFW just in case it's some sort of injury.

This strange set of spots appeared on my 4 year old neutered male longhair cat's nose about a week and a half ago. I figured I'd get an opinion or two here before taking him for a potentially costly vet visit.

It pretty much looked just like this when it first appeared and hasn't grown or shrank since I noticed it. He's a high energy little guy and knocked out a couple of his front teeth running into a wall a couple years ago. He also has a sister, a 7 year old spayed tabby, who scratches him when they get into it. I've seen cuts on his nose before but they don't look anything like this.

Thanks for any advice!
