4 week kitten keeps hiding under bed when mom brought her out!

My Cat had a baby about 4 ish weeks ago and has finally brought her out to be seen however as soon as she brought it out, it slowly went under the bed when it saw me. The bed is pretty short (small enough for pets but not big enough for me to fit under) and it's dusty and a bit cluttered (nothing swalloable but still cluttered like socks, old phone boxes, mail, etc)

I can't get her out because she (the kitten) keeps hissing at me and scurring away and I don't want to scare her too much. Should I just let mom cat take over and hope they move somewhere safe or should I intervene?
