Channel 4 got the Formula 1 rights on 21st December 2015 after the BBC pulled out of their deal with Sky Sports, 3 years early, to broadcast Formula 1.
The deal between Channel 4 and Sky Sports means that Sky will show all 21 races in 2016 live, with Channel 4 showing 10 live and 11 with extended qualifying and race highlights.
