Fake Cards (am I screwed?)
Post Body

Hi everybody, after frequently buying on Buyee I came across some Pokemon Cards which I had been looking for for a while. Everything on the pictures looks legit, checked description and just states which cards are included and their condition. I was very tempted and eventually won the auction bidding against some other competitors. So I paid shipping and eventually VAT which cost me around 100 euro combined, the cards came in and I immediately saw they were all 100% fake.

My assumption is the seller posted real cards and sent fake versions of them. Now I already sent an inquiry to Buyee if a refund might be possible. I checked their FAQ and I assume I am F'd. However this can not be how it's supposed to go? It's just way too easy to be scammed? Anyways if there's anyone with any options on how I could potentially recover my money, I'd be very happy to hear. Thanks :)
