Squarepeg Kidney or Snug plug for extended wear?

Hi there,
Just wondering if anyone has a comparison between the SquarePeg Kidney or the Snug Plug (in similar or smaller size) for extended wear? I current have a Hush 2 (1.75") which I think is too firm for extended wear (or I may just still be a novice and need more time).
Can anyone please recommend either the snug plug or the kidney? I like the size and softness of the kidney but the weight of the snug plug sounds appealing.
