I knew nothing about audio. So bear with me. I'm one of those off-microphone on amplified musicians who are ignorant and uneducated in this realm. So I can really use your guys's help. I made a post talking about something like this a few days ago but it's not as fleshed out as this and I'm just completely opening tp suggestions.

I am starting to perform more and I am typically performing solo which means any accompaniments or backing tracks I use are pre-recorded audios. I typically create these from Musescore (MS).

I've run into a couple issues like this because switching from different hardware there is a delay from hitting the play button to the track starting to play tends to be a little different and if I'm supposed to start right away with the singing I can be off.

Currently my performing setup uses MS as the playback for the audio because I can also look at the sheet music. There's ways I could maximize this a little bit better.

I like using MS as a playback because of being able to see the sheet music all digitally. However I don't have to. What I want to do is that when I hit play I have speakers playing the accompaniment only but also there's a playback of a metronome and the vocal Melody going to my in-ear monitor. This doesn't work too well in MS when I split the audio with a pan in the software plus a splitter cable, the playback still plays a little bit of the audio but much quieter. I want it completely gone from one or the other.

What is the best hardware software combination to do something like this. The critical components for me is splitting the accompaniment and the assisting tracks to the different playback devices.

I'm sure something like this has to exist already.

Is it just like a simple piece of software that requires two audio tracks that play together at the same time? Is there something similar to new score that takes the file and midi and does the same thing?

Any help and suggestions would be great. As far as hardware goes I use an Android phone and I use a PC with Linux on it. I do have access to Windows. I would prefer to keep things in Linux if possible.
