Wassup friends. I havenโt busked in a while, but when I was living on the road one of my hustles was selling poems on the street, some of my mediocre harmonica playing as well. At the time I was traveling on foot so carrying my typewriter was impractical, and I just wrote poems in my notebook or loose leaf paper to give people. Well, now Iโve been housed up for the better part of a year and recently hit gold while I was at the thrift and got a new (to me) typewriter for a good deal. Thinking of getting back into the street poetry game because money and why not. Just wondering if anyone has an experience doing so in Boulder, CO on Pearl Street/the Hill etc and what the prospects would be or any advice for the local scene. Would lugging a folding table downtown be worth it or would I have better luck with just sitting with the typewriter?
