What do you call the material of a bodega grill?

Title says it all, grew up food insecure, eat like shit still. Trying to start cooking for myself. I can’t figure out what they call that grill top so I can buy an imitation to use on my stove. I love chopped cheese and chicken over rice, figure I can make a healthier version at home. Any info is helpful and happy to hear thoughts on grill maitence and/or recipes as well.
