Burnout 3 vs Burnout Revenge (Difficulty wise)
Post Body

So, this may be a dumb post but I wanted to get this out there. Personally, I have played Burnout Revenge numerous times, since I had a ps2 during my childhood and some of those memories involve me breaking controllers (Yes, I was a very angry child back in the day haha). Recently, within the past year, I replayed Burnout Revenge on PCSX2 and like always, had a great time. Really didn't struggle with anything and had an overall great time reliving my childhood. Now, I remember playing Burnout 3 when I was younger but have VERY faint memories of it. My biggest one is remembering my disc broke and my step dad at the time bought Revenge and the rest is history. Within the past year, replaying 3 and Revenge, I have found Burnout 3 to be A LOT, and I mean A LOT more difficult and frustrating than Revenge. Between the ridiculous rubberbanding, crash events, and cars in general, everything seems like a nightmare but still fun. The biggest one I've seen is the A.I. I feel like the A.I in Revenge is like child's play compared to 3. 3's A.I, personally, feels smarter, more aggressive, and very unforgiving. In revenge, you could make around 5 mistakes or crashes for that matter and catch up to first, usually in no time. In 3, 2 crashes back to back, and 1st-3rd place is usually no where to be found. This makes the game frustrating but here's my final opinion.

As much as 3's A.I pisses me off, I like the difficulty of it. Revenge feels waaaay too easy at times and can pretty much gold everything the first time around. 3 requires a little more precision, pre-planning, and overall perfection, especially for burning laps. While I prefer Revenge any day of the week, 3 is now holding a even bigger place in my heart for how frustrating but rewarding it is.

Is it just me or is everything so for true? Which do you prefer?

Also, screw the US Circuit Racer, for a reward car, it is total crap haha.

Edit: Didn't realize someone just posted about this haha, but would love to see more arguments or discussions about the matter :)
