Post Body

I just turned 28 (F) but I feel like I’m in a weird in between stage in my life. After growing out of some friendships and people moving around, others are getting into serious relationships and having kids, I find myself with not a lot of people to go out with and socialize with on a regular basis. I’m trying to take a break from dating apps/dating as I feel like I used those as a bit of a social outlet but they’ve generally been more stressful and damaging than anything. So I really just want to make some new friendships this year.

A bit about me: I work full time and have a small Etsy shop on the side. I live at home with my parents, born and raised in Burlington. I’m generally crafty and like DIY things/projects. I like puzzles and board games. Currently excited that the Bachelor is back on. I’m a Taylor Swift fan but like a lot of music in general and concerts. I’m into watching sports (I used to play but not anymore), mainly hockey right now. I’m more of a casual drinker so I wouldn’t mind going out and watching a game. I think I’m a pretty funny and easy going person, I’ve just struggled to maintain close friendships and meet new people nearby. So feel feel to drop a comment, a recommendation of other places to look or a chat request 😊 I figured it can’t hurt to try non conventional places.

Edit: I’ve created a WhatsApp group where people can potentially organize things to meet up with people, if you want the link just send me a chat request.
