Hello ladies of Bumble. I would like to get some honest feedback about something. I do not want to limit my pool of finding a potential long term partner anymore to specific dating sites. I will be 44 in a couple of weeks and I have HSV1 and HSV2.
I’ve been on dating sites for HSV1/HSV2, but it’s a limited pool of candidates and so far no luck. I’m tired of limiting myself because I live with and manage HSV1/HSV2.
For how many of you ladies is a guy with HSV1/HSV2 an automatic deal breaker? If a guy is looking to find the right woman to get into a serious committed relationship that leads to a forever/marriage scenario, would you overlook that?
I really am thinking about joining Bumble to expand my pool of choices in hopes of finding the right person who feels the same. I would be very transparent and disclose my condition upfront in the event that this would not be a deal breaker for someone who doesn’t have it.
My fear is not rejection, I can handle that. My fear is people telling me I should not be on Bumble and I should go to sites specific to my condition. It’s been tough limiting myself and not putting myself out there in a bigger pool of possible matches.
How would you all feel about a guy with my condition on Bumble? How many of you all see my condition as an automatic deal breaker?
Any and all feedback is appreciated. I thank you all in advance.
