To start, I have never posted inappropriate pics or harrassed anyone on dating apps. I live in a small town so know that word spreads from online to the real world quick. Then at work we fired a co-worker who had a pattern of threatening other co-workers, afterward several of my other co-workers received made-up complaints to their orher jobs. Now I've recently been banned from all three of the main dating app (Hinge, Tinder and Bumble) for no given reason. First it was Hinge and Tinder that banned me and when I sent in appeals all I learned was that I had allegedly broken a rule at Hinge which also resulted in Tinder banning me. When I replied asking for what rule I had broken that resulted in a permanent ban (with no warning or first-strike) I was given no response. Then I noticed I wasn't getting many matches on Bumble so I deleted my account (which wasn't banned or flagged in any way) and made an entirely new account with a new email. Within 24 hours of making my new Bumble account and before I even reaponded to a single match, this Bumble account was also permantly banned and now told the decision is final. How is it that I've been permantly banned from all of these apps even though I did not break any rules on any of them, let alone one that I had joined that day. I understand that Tinder and Hinge are owned by the same parent company but why is Bumble now banning people accross from dating apps? Also is it legal for them to be sharing userdata accross these apps without notice or consent? I understand that it's silly to complain about being banned from dating apps but now I am seriously concerned about how this userdata is being shared by giant companies that could effect future jobs/financial background checks. I've applied for these apps to send copies of the userdata they have on my accounts but haven't gotten any replies yet.
