How do *you* get over bad dating experiences?

I was seeing this guy that I saw A LOT of potential with. We went on few dates and then decided to get physical, (totally consensual, great experience, lots of chemistry).

I was out of town and he texted me asking me if I wanted to hang out. I told him when I’d be back and he said he’d be out of town. Well, I went to go pick up to go food and I saw him out and about.

I’m not upset that he’s not interested or probably only interested in sex. I just don’t know how many more times I can do the “getting to know you/falling for you/disappointment” cycle. Like I have zero desire to get back on the apps but I know one shitty guy doesn’t define or represent every man out there.

How do you guys just get back out there?
