Post Body

Kinda short story is that yesterday we were originally supposed to meetup but her schedule interfered, I said np we'll do it tomorrow. Now that's today, I get off work a couple hours early to go home & shower, we hadn't texted abt the date all day, then like an hour B4 meeting I text her "Btw still [said place] at 6?". No response. I text her again. No response. I choose not to leave the house bc I've already been in positions where I've been stood up while I'm at the date spot & it fkn hurts. Then at 6 she hmu saying "sry idk my phone doesn't get instant msgs. Lmk when you're here." So I'm already pissed at myself for not leaving earlier, I even thought about it too. I head out to leave, it's 20min drive from my house, she texts "?". I tell her I'll be there in 20, 20 min? She says. I reply back yes. Then I get unmatched. Ik it's (not)my fault, but I'm done with dating apps.

Edit: thank you all so much for your advice. After reading Lemondrop-it comment I didn't need to look at any others to know I could've just pulled up on time as scheduled. It's part of being a gentleman & just a simple dating rule in general. This post will stay up. Feel free to comment the good bad & the ugly, but I'm not replying anymore, I've learned from my mistake & I'm moving on from it. Thanks
