Met this guy on Bumble half a year go, just shortly after we both got out of long term relationships. Really vibed and kissed at the end, but next day he let me know we should stop talking. The kiss brought up all these unresolved feelings about his break up that he needed to process.

I thought that was that and just gave him his space. Felt a little disappointed but not angry. Ever since we’ve been chatting on off, just checking in with each other as friends. I’ve been dating other people. He has as well. But finally yesterday we met up again. Not defining whether it would be as friends or dating. But damn… the butterflies were instantly back! This guy raises the bar on everyone else I’ve dated in the past 6 months. He’s amazing and I like myself when I’m with him.

Three hours of talking and laughing flew by, he paid for our drinks (not accepting me to chip in; not needed, but yum) and then again the KISS. I went home smiley and giggly.

I’m used to always falling head first into really intense connections, where we’re talking daily, but I love giving it time with this one. We’ll probably be out of touch again for another 2 months because we both have a lot going on. I’m trusting that if this is my person, it’ll get back around. Such a new experience!
