Went on a first date last night, and I genuinely had a good time. We got coffee and spent about 2 hours walking around since it was nice out.
We hugged and parted ways at the end, and I explicitly said I had a very good time. Messaged her on my walk home saying I had fun and would love to see her again.
No response as of yet, but remaining hopeful. I’m curious though…
I almost never kiss on a first date out of partly unexplainable habit, and I also feel it’s the respectful thing to do when very first meeting and spending time with someone.
From my experience it’s often perceived as a negative and I end up ghosted, even though I feel a date went well and there was good conversation and a mutual connection.
What are y’all’s thoughts?
