Speed Dating Experiment

I have lifetime premium, so I get free super likes and spotlights.
During Spotlight, I did spotlight for 30 mins. Then without for 30 mins.
During Spotlight, I chatted with 5 people and matched with just 1. However, when I didn't use Spotlight, I matched with 0. No chats, no matches, nothing.
From this experiment, I learned that 1) Spotlights make a difference and 2) you will not get matched if you don't buy spotlight.
Is this worthwhile for the average consumer? No. It's a complete scam.
