Goldbacks, yay or nay?
Post Body

Hey fellow stackers, I usually just read the posts here but I was curious to see what this community thought about the practicality / viability of gold-backs in the future. For those of you not in the know, generally speaking, a gold back is a newish type of fractional gold currency that is essentially just a dollar that has real gold on it, typically one-thousand gold-backs is equivalent to 1 oz. of gold. I find this type of fractional gold currency interesting and seeing as how they are recognized by 3 states in the US,(Utah, Nevada, and New Hampshire), it shows they are gaining some traction. I want to hear what you all think about them and if you think they will possibly be more widely traded or recognized by the general public in the future.
