CA High-Rise Fire Code
Post Body

I’m looking for a definitive answer to the CA Fire Code pertaining to the rating and specs of fire doors within a residential high rise building that’s recently been constructed. From what I’ve found it appears as if the door has to have a burn time rating of 90 mins and I want to make sure that’s always the case and know the specific code to reference. The building where I live has a mix of 90, 45, 30, and unmarked doors and something just doesn’t seem right about that.

Thank you in advance.
