Seller alert: IPC-Store
Post Body

A couple days ago, a deal for the 3080ti was posted here.

IPC-Store is now sending out messages to buyers with varying excuses for not being able to fulfill it, such as ""We do not carry that product in our inventory" & "This product sold out faster than we could update the quantity online."

From just those two incongruous messages alone, it's clear they're lying in at least one, if not both. Looking at their Amazon seller page, it sounds like multiple people had similar messages sent. They're privately contacting individual buyers requesting them to cancel their order, so they don't take the negative hit on their seller account.

From Amazon's Seller Central: "If you cannot fulfill the order due to lack of inventory and need to cancel the order, select the reason as No Inventory. Do not contact the buyer and request that they submit a cancelation request."

It sounds like they're just trying to weasel out of taking a negative hit on their cancelation metrics. No way to force them to honor the price. But for everyone else who ordered, I'd strongly recommend not canceling in order to cover for them.
