that makes sense - iām sorry, i really didnāt mean to be accusatory, i was just frustrated with how other people in this thread are saying negative things about the city based on the bad actions of some desperate people.
i hope you were able to get to some stocked stores!!
would someone mind providing a source to verify that theyāre closing due to looting?
the picture says ādamage done to our storeā, which could just as easily be referring to damage from the storm. itās irresponsible to post something like this with a sensationalist caption just to spark hatred against impoverished communities.
genuinely curious: how do you know the stores were looted? is it possible that they were just sold out of everything?

i donāt mean to be confrontational but how can you be sure that the grocery stores were looted (as opposed to just out of stock)? iām sure a whole lot of people had the same idea as your husband and may have beaten him to the stores.
it just doesnāt seem necessary to make unfounded comments that will rile more people up against each other when the city needs to be coming together.
