Halden Prison has been called "The World's Most Humane Prison." Warden from Halden visits Attica Prison to meet with Attica Superintendent and see what changes could be made to improve problems. The documentary is really well done and focuses on the concept of rehabilitation vs. revenge and how it makes for a better environment for both prison guards and prisoners.
Here is the 11 minute excerpt on Youtube - definitely worth the watch.

I thought this was a beautifully shot documentary that had a lot of good insight from prisoners and guards alike. I really liked that it included officials at the highest level as well as regular guards and prisoners. Obviously, a prison like Halden wouldn't work for everyone, but for those who truly do want to be rehabilitated, what options does our government supply?
