I'm considering switching carriers because the phone I'm interested in only runs on a GSM network (AT&T or T-Mobile) but I'm currently on Verizon (a CDMA network which also applies to Sprint). For my personal purposes I am most interested in what people's experience is with AT&T and T-Mobile in the area. Buffalo is a 4G LTE city for Verizon but is not for AT&T or T-Mobile. I am currently pretty satisfied with the speed of the Verizon network.
Do AT&T users feel their network is satisfactory to them or do you have any noticeable lag or difference with Buffalo not being a 4G LTE city?
Furthermore, I've read T-Mobile's rural coverage is terrible and was wondering if anyone could verify this in this area, I do have some family in the more rural areas of WNY.
If anyone wants to throw in their 2 cents on Sprint too I figured this thread would be good for it but I'm personally not interested in that.
